TeleClass: Liturgy as an Aid to Prayer
The movement for Jewish renewal has lifted the art of liturgical and
communal prayer, giving it again levels of meaning nearly lost in the
tumlt of this age. Let's take a walk through the pages of both
classical and renewal siddurim (prayerbooks). We'll see how a service
is constructed as a guided meditation. We'll glimpse the subleties of
language designed to evoke inner experiences.
Teleclass: Personal spiritual practice as a support in dealing with difficult life challenges
Topics discussed include how a personal spiritual practice can help with time management issues, health concerns, and professional stresses. This class is in session during October/November 2007 and is for members of Ner Tamid Congregation in Tucson.
